The Claremont Chamber of Commerce handed out its community and business awards Tuesday at The DoubleTree by Hilton. Euro Cafe was named small business of the year; Claremont Toyota, large business of the year; Children’s Foundation of America, nonprofit of the year; Darlene Berg, entrepreneur of the year; Andrew Behnke, business person of the year; Pat Herrero, ambassador of the year; John Neiuber, board chairperson of the year and recipient of the Leila Ackerman award; and Michell Bligh, the Kindness in Action award.
