Traffic on Claremont Boulevard between Ninth Street and Foothill will be affected through August by construction of phase two of Claremont McKenna College’s Sports Bowl. Crews will install a new traffic signal at Ninth and Claremont, construct an underground pedestrian tunnel, add class IV bike lanes, and complete utility work. Lanes adjacent to the center median will be temporarily closed. Detour signs will be posted.
