High school students working on single or group sustainability projects that align with one or several of the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals are invited to apply for the United Nations Association of Pomona Valley’s annual Sustainability Project Recognition Awards. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 4 at forms.gle/WskeUnNZ2a5vqmkB8. Submissions must include name, grade and high school, email, adult verification, photos, and a 1,000-word essay on the project and its impacts. Monetary awards, ranging from $50 to $250, will be distributed by the May 28 awards ceremony.
