California Botanic Garden’s spring photo contest opens May 15 through June 15.

“Photos will be judged on originality of perspectives and representation of native plants/native plant habitats,” read the contest description. “Winners will receive a small prize and be featured on CalBG’s social media accounts.”

Photographers may submit one photo for consideration to photocontest@calbg.org. The e-mail subject must read “Spring Photo Contest 2026,” with the body including artists’ first and last name, phone number, e-mail, photo description, date, and relevant social media accounts if desired. Photos must have been taken in 2026.
