Claremont Unified School District Board of Education has named rising high school seniors Corinne Sorel and Gabriel Espinoza-Rodriguez as student board members for the 2026-27 school year. Corinne will represent Claremont High and Gabriel San Antonio High. The students are nominated by their peers and may cast advisory votes on all matters except those subject to closed-session discussion.

“Student board members enable governance teams to incorporate student voices in their district responsibilities, elevating student perspectives on education policy decisions that they may not have otherwise considered,” read a descriptor at cusd.claremont.edu.
