Claremont celebrates the Fourth of July

Claremont celebrated Independence Day on Saturday with a full day of festivities, beginning with the annual Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast and Freedom 5K at Memorial Park, followed by a flag-raising ceremony, recognition of this year’s honorees, and the city’s annual parade along Indian Hill Boulevard. Grand marshal Gary Goltz, honored citizen Jack Mills, and honored community group Active Claremont were recognized during the celebration.
