Friday, July 3
- The first Friday of the month is pay what you can day at American Museum of Ceramic Art, open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 399 N. Garey Ave., Pomona. Recent high school and college graduates can also register for free admission throughout July at amoca.org/events.
- San Dimas’ free and public 4 to 9:30 p.m. Fourth of July celebration featuring live music from The Wrecking Crew, a farmers market, car show, and drone display, opens at 4:30 p.m. at Civic Center Park, 245 E. Bonita Ave. Visit sandimas2026.com/event for more info.

Saturday, July 4
- For the 250th time America, happy Independence Day from the Courier!
- La Verne’s Fourth of July festivities start at 6:30 a.m. with Methodist Church’s pancake breakfast at 3205 D St., followed by the 10 a.m. parade starting at 10th and D streets. Gates open at 6 p.m. for a concert and fireworks display at Bonita High School, 3102 D St. Tickets are $20. Kids 4 and under are free.
- Claremont’s Fourth of July activities begin at Memorial Park, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd., with the 7 a.m. pancake breakfast, followed by the 7:30 a.m. children’s 1K, 8 a.m. 5K, and the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. festival. The parade begins at 1. Gates to Pomona College’s Strehle Track, 522 N. Mills Ave., open at 6:30 p.m. ahead of the 9 p.m. fireworks show. Tickets are $15 at claremontca.gov/4th-of-july.
- Ontario’s free Fourth of July activities start with a 9 a.m. parade beginning at Euclid Avenue and Fourth Street, followed by the 9:30 to 1:30 p.m. all-states picnic at 224 N. Euclid Ave., an 11 a.m. Ontario Chaffey Community Show Band performance, and a 9 p.m. fireworks show at Westwind Park, 2455 E. Riverside Dr.
- Upland’s Light Up the Night Fireworks Spectacular begins at 5:30 p.m. at Holliday Rock, 1401 N. Benson Ave., Upland, with fireworks at 9. For more information visit uplandca.gov.
