With the 8-, 9-, and 14-years olds eliminated from postseason play, four Claremont Little League All-Star teams remain in their respective tournaments.

Please note game results are delayed this week due to early press times as a result of the Fourth of July holiday. Check the Courier’s website at claremont-courier.com for updated results as they become available.

10-year-olds (2-0)

After a narrow 5-4 win over Glendora American on June 26, the 10-year-olds faced La Verne at Marchant Park on Tuesday, coming away with an 11-5 victory. The win sends them to the District 20 championship game at 5 p.m. Thursday, where they’ll play the winner of Wednesday’s La Verne vs. Glendora National contest.

11-year-olds (2-0)

The 11s had an easy 14-0 win against Glendora American June 25 and followed it up with another on Monday, again piling on the runs in an 11-8 victory over La Verne. The team faced La Verne again after press time Wednesday in the District 20 title game. A win would send them to the Section 3 tournament. A loss would set up a must-win against La Verne in the double elimination tournament on Thursday.

12-year-olds (3-1)

The 12 lost to La Verne, 4-3, on June 26, but bounced back in a big way, easily dispatching San Dimas, 11-1, on June 27 and Glendora National, 18-4, on Monday. The team played La Verne after press time Wednesday. A win would mean they’re heading to the District 20 title game Thursday at George Manhooshian Park in Glendora. A loss would send them home for the summer.

13-year-olds (5-1)

The District 20 champion 13-year-olds continued their remarkable postseason run June 27 with an easy 12-2 win over South Pasadena in the Section 3 tournament. The team suffered its first loss of the postseason June 28, a wild one against Chino National, 15-14, then went on a two-game tear, beating South Pasadena, 9-4, on Monday, and getting past Chino National, 6-4, Tuesday. The 13s played in the Section 3 title game after press time Wednesday.
